SAVAGE PISTOL MEMORABILIA FOR SALE
Last updated March 2003
On occasion I have duplicate Savage memorabilia coming out of my collection that I will be offering for sale.   I publish this small list of collectible Savage items as they come available.  I currently have the following for sale.  I also have some duplicate advertising, on request.
1.  At last ! Best Quality Reproduction Grips. Put those brittle M1907 originals on your "shooters" away for safe keeping.  Although I always try to restore weapons to original, I have a number of "shooters". It's a shame to leave good, hard-to-come-by grips on and subject them to range damage. In searching for reproductions, there simple were not any good ones out there. Finally, I contacted a modern maker of buttplates and pistol grips and had them create molds from mint originals in my collection. It took two sets of molds, but these are the closest to originals you can find ... in fact, externally impossible to tell from originals. I now offer these to fellow Savage owners for $25 per pair, includes shipping.  I will break pairs for $15 each.  The M1917 grips are of slightly lesser quality reproduction, but are still a good replacement, pricing is the same.
