SAVAGE PISTOL PARTS
!! NOTICE !!
Sale of magazines and grips temporarily suspended until Apil 2007.  Other parts are still available.

My apology for any confusion, the notice was previously posted on the opening page of my website, unfortunately  AOL was directing to an archived opening page.  That has been fixed.
SUPPLY:  In the course of restoring my Grandfather's Savage Pocket Pistol, subsequent years of restoring pocket pistols and to keep my personal "shooters" running, I have come to accumulate a supply of original parts.  The availability of specific parts varies from time to time.  Click on PARTS DIAGRAM at left to identify the name and part number you need.

PRICING:  Pricing on common, readily available mechanical parts is provided by clicking on PRICE LIST at left.  Other items are Price On Request (POR) and depend on the relative condition of the part if it is an exposed finish piece (slide, hammer, magazine, etc.).  I will provide POR pricing on currently available items in response to your inquiry by clicking on INQUIRE below.

VARIANTS: Savage pistol parts vary within the dozen or so production variations of the three (3) basic models.  These variations are often designated by their unique types of parts.  Therefore, it is necessary to not only know the part you require, but also the specific production variation of that part.  This requires the serial number down to at least one (1) digit (i.e., 12345x)

Parts dealers and most gunsmiths are unaware there is a difference other than in the basic model (e.g., Model 1907, Model 1915, etc.)  You are extremely unlikely to get the proper part when ordering.  If you are told by a gunsmith or parts dealer an internal part may require some "filing or hand fitting", this is not true ... it is likely the part is of the wrong variant.

INQUIRIES: Click on PARTS DIAGRAM to the left to find the part name and number reference.   All models essentially use the same number reference. Click on INQUIRE to the left to connect with my e-mail.  Title the message "Parts Needed" and enclose the part name, part number, your caliber and serial number.  Attach a photo if you have one readily available, it always helps.
