What We're All About
We are the only demanufacturer and salvagers in of all types of computer and electronics equipment in the Greater Syracuse and central New York area. We take everything apart, salvage what we can and process the rest meeting all standards and regulations applicable. We even recycle the screws that hold the cabinets together.Less than one percent of what we take in goes to a landfill.
As you may know, today's and yesterdays electronics contain many hazardous materials. Materials such as Lead, Copper, Chromium, Cadmium, Lithium and several others that get into our wastes stream and then into our water if allowed to be landfilled. Incineration causes more problems as these elements are released into our air during the burning process.
We can pick up your product for a fee, or you can deliver to us at no charge. However, we have a tipping fee of $8.50 per glass monitor. In 1992 the EPA passed regulations disallowing CRT's from landfills. We have to send each of these to an EPA approved recycling facility for destruction. They charge us $7.00 per CRT plus transportation to Pennsylvania.
We are presently working with many charitable organizations and social groups plus providing jobs and training for challenged clients. Our facility is located at 440 Shonnard Street in Syracuse. Our phone number is 315 476-4025 or 476-7708. We are open from9:00 AM to5:00 PM daily and from 9:00 AM to 4:00PM on Saturday.
We take everything and anything that "plugs in, makes a sound, lights up or goes around", the exception being televisions sets at this time.
