Hello ! My name is Steve McGilvary and I operate Misty Parker Gifts - a mail order business devoted exclusively to the sale of Amish made goods.
I travel several times a year to Amish settlements throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana in search of beautiful & unique items. I'm never disappointed. The Amish have just one way of doing things...the old fashioned way...THE RIGHT WAY !Click here to view my current selection of Amish products.

OLD STYLE WOODEN WHEELBARROW
NOT YOUR ORDINARY WHEELBARROW !
Remember the wooden wheelbarrow Grandpa used on the farm? This old style wooden wheelbarrow is again being produced with traditional craftsmanship. It features steam-bent hickory rim, steel tire, eight staggered mortised and tenon spokes, and steel bracing for added strength. The Stoltzfus family craft their barrows in the same "old timey" way their ancestors did nearly 130 years ago, for hard use on Lancaster County farms.
In fact, this barrow is so impressive that several national magazines have honored it with extremely positive editorial reviews. Over the past four years, Misty Parker Gifts, together with the Amish barrow, have appeared inHorticulture Magazine (December "96"), Progressive Farmer (March "97"), Country Living Gardener (Sept/Oct "97"), Southern Living (September "97"), Organic Gardening (March "98"), & Country Home (May 2000). You literally can't buy this sort of publicity. The product must be special enough to earn its own way onto the editorial page. For more info on the wheelbarrow, click here.
