I am most at home on the water and have lived aboard and cruised since the late 80s. I can't get enough of adventuring and exploring and enjoy sailing the most when we are off the beaten track and on our own. There is no better way to see the world than from the deck of a cruising sailboat, and there is no better way to raise kids than as citizens of the world!

All of my children have been raised on the sea and have been to many countries since they were born. My eighteen year old has been to 21 so far, my youngest child visited 13 countries before he was two years old! They have all learned many important life lessons seeing how other people live first hand. We have had homeschool history lessons in the actual places the events occured and have studied wildlife in it's own natural habitats and geography lessons on site. Having children aboard adds a fantastic dimension to sailing. I love exploring and discovering with kids!
