Rodney Clark Player Profile and Statistics
#10 Rodney Clark
Rodney Clark is 30 years old. Hey grew up the youngest of four in the San Francisco Bay Area. Rodney's strength with the Indians comes from his play making abilities and speed. As one of the fastest skaters on the team Rodney adds needed wheels to the otherwise large Seattle lineup. He is one of the best face off men on the team and is used is pressure situations where winning the face off is critical.

All Rodney's siblings were involved in the neighborhood sport of Ice Hockey.  At the tender age of 3 Rodney donned his first team Jersey for San Francisco, Legs Ice Arena.  Rodney went on to play for California State select teams, Michigan State and Various Junior "A" hockey teams throughout Western Canada.  Before joining the Indians in 1995, Rodney was a member of the Fresno Falcons, now playing in the WCHL.

Rodney has headed east to Boston and will be playing for the Boston Hockey Club this season. However, we may still see him put on an Indians jersey a few times this season.

January 8, 1999

Well Baby Clark could not wait to get here!  After 16+ hours of labor and two trips to the hospital, Baby Clark and Mom took things into their own hands.  While on the way to the hospital (for the third time), Trinese says in a panicked scream "the baby is coming out".  Being the supportive husband that I am, I say, "Hold on.  We're almost There.  You can do it".  As I am
saying this, I happened to look over and, you guessed it,  the baby was on its way out.  The pedal hit the floor and one minute later, Baby Clark arrived at 3:55 PM at an estimated 75 MPH while heading North on I5. Immediately after delivery, baby cried,  mom calmed - dad went into controlled hysterics.

Remembering there was a VA hospital nearby, I exited the freeway - speeding, hazards flashing as well as brights - driving on the wrong side of the street honking the horn, yelling/crying out of the window  "My wife just had our baby, call 911, move over..."  When we got to VA I was relieved to find six helpful soles that secured mom and baby, and did a great job of calming
me.  I  realized that they don't deliver too many babies at VA - so we had to keep moving. One of the head nurses joined us in the car for the additional 10 minute drive to Group Health/Virginia Mason.  Here they performed the remaining delivery services.

It was very emotional, but I am proud to report that Harrison James and mom are doing great!  7 Pounds even 20 inches.  He has many of my facial features, but he's got his mothers courage!

Thanks to all for the support and well wishes.
