What is the difference between;

Someone who wins ocassionally and a winner?
Someone who loses occassionally and a loser?
Someone who plays golf and a golfer?
Someone who runs and a runner?
Someone who studies martial arts and a martial artist?
Someone who gets in fights and a warrior?
Someone who is in a relationship and a mate?
Someone who does a job and a team member?
Someone who has troubles and someone who is troubled?
Someone who has depression and someone who is depressed?
Someone who has money and someone who is wealthy?
Someone who has fears and someone who is anxious?

The difference is where they place their internal sense of sense, their personal attachment, their identification, their identity.

Everything we think, feel, say, and do is a direct expression of what we identify with, our identity.

IdentityTherapy is the original congruent clinical conceptualization and strategic and tactical intervention applications created by Lynn Seiser Ph.D. that focuses on who you want to be (positive identity) instead of what you don’t want to do (negative behavior). IdentityTherapy is based on thirty years of direct clinical experience with offenders and victims of violence, trauma, abuse, and addiction. Its fast, efficient, and effective.

IdentityTherapy is a creative clinical blend of western psychology and psychotherapy, eastern philosophy and discipline, sport and performance enhancement techniques, neurolinguistic programming and hypnosis, and everyday common sense that we already know who we are, what the truth is, and what we need to do.

IdentityTherapy is the exclusive trademark and copyright of Lynn Seiser Ph.D.

The Basics:

I (a verb)*

I (a verb) accept my positive identity of the future instead of the negative behavior of my past.

I (a verb) accept there is nothing more profound
than everyday common sense.

I (a verb) am mindful and accept I already know
the truth and what is right.

I (a verb) am compassionate and already know
the cause and effect of both suffering
and happiness.

I (a verb) am courageous and do what is right.

I (a verb) am disciplined and keep doing it.

* I is the pronoun most often used to refer to one’s self. Unfortunately, the “I” does not stand for intelligence, but rather identity. Identity is the nominalization (making a verb into a noun) of the active verb identifying. Identity is actually the unconscious process of identifying or attaching an internal sense of self with an external person, context, or culture. Identity is a learned process, and thus changeable. Change, on an identity level, changes what you do, think, feel, and the foundation of who you think you are. Identity is a verb. I (a verb).
