ANDREW IRION FAMILY Home Page
Andrew IRION was born 4 May 1821 in Brittheim, Sulz, Wurttemburg, Germany. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1846 on the ship "Leila" with his wife Anna ZELLER. Their first child was born on board ship. Andrew first lived in Tiffin, Ohio where he worked for 7 years to save enough money to purchase farm land. The family then packed up and walked to Sebewaing, Huron Co., Michigan to clear a spot to farm. I am attempting to locate the descendants of Andrew and Anna and hope to eventually publish a family history.

IRION (son of Johannes and Anna Katherine HENGSTELER) was born 04 May 1821 in Brittheim, Sulz Co., Wurttemberg, Germany, and died 22 December 1898 in Sebewaing, Huron Co., Michigan. He married Anna Katherina ZELLER Abt. 1845 in Wurttemberg, Germany. Anna was born 22 Feb 1816 in Feringer, Wurttemberg, the daughter of John ZELLER and Judith SCHMIDT.
