Professor Daniel Torres 8th Dan/hachidan/Master Instructor under the Vee Jitsu System have train and study with two Grandmaster instructors for over 25 years,Grandmaster Prof. Jose A. Velez, my Sensei & the late Supreme Grand Master Prof. Florendo M. Visitacion (Prof. Vee) in the arts of Vee Jitsu Ryu Jujitsu & Tae Kwon Do. Prof. Torres has been inducted into the Black Back Hall of Fame by the World Professional Karate Organization, World Karate Union, The American Federation of Martial Arts, United International Kung Fu Fedration and in all received Silver Lifetime Achievement Award. September, 2000 Prof. Torres was inducted by The World Head of Family Sokeship Council "Founder Award". Life Associate member of Martial Arts Grandmaster International Council (M.A.G.I.C.).Member of American Judo and Jujitsu Federation (AJJF Allied Rank 8th Dan). Member of the International Federation of Ju-Juitsuan. Certified as a Judge/Referee by The All-American Tae Kwon Do/Karate/Kung Fu Judge & Referees Commission. 8th Degree Black Belt & Founder of His Own System
Throughout his career as a martial artist, Prof. Torres remained a faithful student to Grandmaster Prof. Jose A. Velez and the late Supreme Grandmaster Prof. Visitacion. As a result of his die-hard commitment and allegiance to the study of Vee Jitsu Jujitsu, On January, 2000, Grandmaster Velez promoted Prof. Torres to the rank of Hachidan - 8th Degree Black Belt under the Vee Jitsu System. Prof. Torres was acknowledge and certify of unquestionable moral charcter and having met all the qualifications as a Student, Instructor and Master was held in the highest regard with the Vee Jitsu Family. In addtion, to this noteworthy accomplishment Grandmaster Prof. Velez personally bestowed upon Prof. Torres, the title of Dai Shihan and the exclusive right and honor to create his own interpretation of Vee Jitsu Jujitsu System know as DanTor Ryu Jujitsu, School of Modern Vee Jitsu Jujitsu System Inc. Orlando, Florida witness by Grandmaster Prof. David James, Master Alan Goldberg, Grandmaster Jonathan Stewart, Soke S. Papasan Canty, Punong Guro Doug Pierre and Grandmaster Rico Guy.

Prof. Torres is the Ni Dai Shihan of the Ju Kido Kai Ryu, School of Modern Vee Jitsu Jujitsu (Founder Grandmaster Prof. Jose A. Velez 10th Dan/judan Vee Jitsu Family) Brooklyn, New York. Prof. Torres have been know for his postive contributions and advancements in the Martial Arts Community.

DanTor Ryu Jujitsu
The DanTor Ryu Jujitsu, School of Modern Vee Jitsu Jujitsu System is the Art of Self Defense Developed by Professor Daniel Torres. The system derives it base from Jujitsu, the “Mother” art from which Karate, Judo, Aikido was born. Prof. Torres seeking to developed a system of self-defense for modern day person, an open-hand system that would enable a person to protect life and property in the environment, which we now live. The DanTor Ryu Jujitsu system teaches and educated the skills of throwing, kicking, punching, striking, blocking, submissionlocks, ground defenses, counters, combinations, chokes, common knowledge of nerve & pressure points, knowledge & implications of the body using the above and subduing in practical (street) application.
