Meetings
Meetings of the South Jersey Astronomy Club are held on the second Thursday of each month at the Upper Cape Branch (Upper Township), Cape May County Library. The Library is located at 2050 Route 631 (Tuckahoe Rd.) in Petersburg, NJ. 08270. There's plenty of free parking. Meetings begin at 7:30 PM, and are open to the public. If you are interested in astronomy, come to one of our meetings and check us out!

The Upper Township Branch is located between the Municipal Complex and the Rescue Squad facility.

IF COMING FROM POINTS NORTH AND WEST...

From Millville & Vineland Area, head east on Route 49 to Tuckahoe. Turn right at the light (heading east) on Route 50 through Tuckahoe for about 1.5 miles. You come to a stop light with the Triton Tavern on the corner. Turn left. The Library will be on your right approximately 3/4 of a mile.

IF COMING FROM POINTS NORTH, SOUTH OR EAST...

Your best bet is to take the Garden State Parkway to exit 26 at Marmora. This is also an exit for Ocean City. Head west, through the intersection. You are on route 631 which is the Tuckahoe Rd. After approximately 2-3 miles, you head over the Cedar Swamp; you then come to a traffic light. Proceed straight ahead for about 2/3 of a mile, and the Library will be on your left.

For more help, here is a link to MAPQUEST.Don't be confused if you plug in the address for the Library, and the page provides you with a listing for a location in "Woodbine." That's simply the postal mailing designation. The Library is in Petersburg.

Scheduling problems may affect the meeting date and venue, so be sure to check the ASTRO ALERT page for any changes.
