Built in 1860, Freeman's Crossing Covered Bridge crosses Oregon Creek in Yuba County.  It is reported to be the oldest covered bridge in California.

Wawona Covered Bridge
Built in 1868 by the owners of the Wawona Hotel and converted to a covered bridge in 1878, the Wawona Covered Bridge is located in Yosemite and crosses the south fork of the Merced River.  The 130 foot long Wawona Covered Bridge is one of two covered bridges in a National Park.
