SUSAN L. SCHULMAN - BIOGRAPHY
Susan L. Schulman began her career at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts as Assistant to the Press Director. After working as a Senior Publicist at United Artists and WNET/Channel 13, Susan was associated with many of Broadway's top press agents before opening her own theatrical press office in 1978 handling Broadway and off-Broadway shows, dance, film, TV, books, special events and individual personalities. In 1984 she joined CBS-TV in the newly-created position of Director, Press Information, handling publicity and marketing for all the CBS mini-series. Susan then headed the Public Relations/Corporate Communications departments at two major cable TV networks (USA Network and A&E) before joining Brown & Powers PR Agency as VP, handling all the entertainment clients including the BBC and Andrew Lloyd Webber. In 1992 Susan re-opened her own press office, again in the famous Paramount Building in Times Square, where she currently represents a broad spectrum of entertainment clients.
Susan has just been named a member of the Theatre Panel for the NY State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) for 2006-2007.
