Chapter Three
Aurelie rode up the mountain with speed fed up with the doubts of people that she was the princess. She debated whether to try to run away and try to make a better life for herself when she heard a scream for help

"Please help me.......... Please, and if you will not please put me out of my misery"

Aurelie curios of who was making the sounds ran to where the sound was coming from, a tiny canyon where the mountain suddenly dipped. All she could see was a giant river and a mountain cliff. And then she heard the voice again

"If you would Kindly look down and toss me a rope I would be very obliged"

Aurelie responding to the voice immediately looked down the cliff to see a young man with a heavy suit of armor on. She thought to herself 'Why is it that young men in suits always get caught stuck on branches in real life, and are not all that they are in tales' She sighed and ran back to her horse to unravel her horses ribbons out of its hair to rope him up. Surprisingly strong these ribbons were multipurpose and this was the only reason that she allowed the stable hands to deck her horse ridiculously with them. She then proceeded to throw the rope over the cliff to the young man and tried to pull him up. This of course didn't work because with all his suit of armor on he weighed a ton.

Aurelie then jumped onto the horse tying the ribbon to her horse Zoë, and galloped off pulling the man up the cliff with her.

"May I ask why you were hanging off the cliff, screaming for help, in my opinion it is quite easy to climb up a cliff, but what were you doing on the cliff anyway?"

The young man tried to reply but not wanting to appear stupid even in front of a young peasant girl he replied
"I was walking across the cliff and a giant monster appeared and in battling it bravely, he threw me down the cliff"

"May I guess that you really mean that you were riding about foolishly trying to find a monster to fight with to prove you're courage, and carelessly slipped off and fell down and your horse deserted you?"

"Well yes... How did you know?"

"I've seen plenty of Knights in my fathers court trying to prove their worth to the elder knights with stories of there bravery, only to tell among their friends that they only fell down and that their scars were only from falling off their horse"

"You're fathers court? I did not know that Peasants had fathers that held court or that there were any knights in them"

Aurelie frustrated with the fact of her common looks and her being thought as a peasant replied
"I am the Princess!!! Do you think young peasant ladies run about on white horses with ribbons in their mane, and in long green emerald dresses? If you do you are more stupid than I think"

"You can't be the princess.......... The princess has long blond hair and blue eyes, granted you are riding a fine horse and are in lovely dress but you are a peasant"

Aurelie screamed with frustration "I AM THE PRINCESS, Simple as that. My parents just told everyone I was beautiful so they could find a good marriage for me... UNDERSTAND?"

"Yes but... the princess is blond and blue eyed"

Aurelie sighed, "My younger sister Eleanor is blond and blue eyed but at this moment I think we are talking about me the elder princess"

The young man shook his head and made to run off before she screamed "Have you seen anything strange around here?"

"Yes I told you a giant monster!"

Aurelie sighed and allowed the young man to continue on his way before resuming her climb up the mountain.
