We are inviting you to attend a powerful move of God. Services where God has anointed with compassion, understanding and love. This is an assembly that is concerned with empowering our community with the key to success.God is calling our community to release the potential. There are many desires that we have as a community that you speak and hear. How about a youth center, a grocery store, or job training. We can accomplish these goals and more.
Its time for us to take the limits off of God and allow Him to be who He really is. A Life changer! I've got news for you, he wants to change your situation. He's not looking for a way to punish you, He's looking for a way to help you! We have been sent to announce to every demon in our community that we are taking it back. Every child, every school, every marriage, every father, every mother, every job and all our finances must return! For the redeemed of the Lord has said so and God has promised it to every believer!!
We are free and who the Son has set free is free indeed! No price is too great and no obstacle is too high! We say to this mountain of drug abuse, family abuse, financial abuse, personal destruction, and overwhelming guilt to be removed. God's promises are yes or no and we say yes! We call for God to release them to and through our community.

Our Staff
Pastor Edward and Bobbi Buford are from Bluefield West Virginia. They have five children, Mary 16, Jessica 12, Matthew 10, Abigail 5 and Isabel 5. Pastor Buford has been in the ninistry for fifteen years. They arrived in Houston in 1990 and have worked with various youth ministries in the Houston area until March 1997n when God called Them to Pastor.
Their fresh, simple and anointed way of communicating the Gospel will keep you and your children watered with the Word and determinied in the faith. Come Visit SonRise Fellowship Church where we are helping to Release the Potential in our Communities.
Our Assistant Pastor, Archie & Deana Roberts are natives of Houston Texas. They have four children Aquita 14, Austria 12, Artaia 9, and Asia 5. Pastor Roberts has been in the ministry for six years. His preaching is anointed and powerful.
Our Youth Pastor Robert Nutt is a native of Houston Texas. His approach to Youth Ministry can be described in one word "real". Dealing with Issues that directly effect our schools, community streets and homes.

Youth Outreach Team
Are you tired of seeing youth set aside being treated as unimportant. Are you ready for changes that will make an impact on your children. We invite you to get on the Y.O.T. The SonRise Fellowship Youth Ministry. Ages 13 to 18 years.Destiny Walkers
This program allows children Ages 0 to 10 years of age. Interact with others their age. D.W.s go on field trips within the Houston area. Destiny walkers also study the Word of God and are given life application that are relevant for the period of life they are in. Drill Teams, praise Dancing, Choirs, Youth Football, Cheerleading, Tutoring and a whole lot more. We are destiny walkers!!
The W.O.R.D.
Warriors, Overcomers, Redeemed, Doers. The Word are 11 to 12 year olds full of energy and on fire for God. Drill Team, Bible Quiz Team and Choir keep them on the go.

SonRise Fellowship Church is located in the North portion of Houston Texas on 3518 Aldine Bender. Our office Number is 281-219-1396. We can be reached from all major Highways. From I45 head east on Beltway 8, exit JFK, turn right on JFK and right on Aldine Bender SonRise will be on your left immediatly when you turn. From HWY59 exit Aldine Bender turn left under freeway continue past JFK, SonRise will be on your left immediatly after crossing JFK. Come visit SonRise and watch the Son rise in your life!
