I wish I
could stop what is happening
between you
and me,
that I could
put things back
the way they
used to be.
I wish that I
could open your heart
and open mine
up too,
disregard the
hurts and disappointments
and start
with a fresh heart anew.
But all
hearts are the keepers
of their own
joys and pain,
and once they
are hurt
they may
never be the same ..
So as the
keeper of my own heart,
I wish that
you could know,
that even
though my heart is hurt
I will always
love you so...
And even
though I do not have the key
to unlock
your heart or mine,
I will always
remember you..
another place
