WELCOME TO MY PINBALL WEBPAGE!!!
AKA: FLASHBACK TO THE 70's & 80's
I hope you enjoy the photos of my current & past collection! My story is very simple. I am 33 years old today, however the pinball fascination started 23 years ago. I (as most kids did) would mow laws and do odd jobs for extra $$$ to spend at the local arcade. Now that I look back on it, it seems like a trip to the local arcade (for a child) could easily be compared to a modern day trip to Vegas (for an adult). You walk through the door and are immediately hit by the sights & sounds. Suddenly you lose track of time, and of course a clock can't be found anywhere..... (at least, I told my parents that there were no clocks)
Well for me, I have always been fascinated with anything coin-operated. My first pin was purchased off of EBAY back in 1999. My wife & I drove 4 hours to KY to pick it up.... Now I am looking at approximately 50 pins later and still growing. Fortunately my wife hasn't sent me packing. I think she was more upset with pin purchases #5 through #10, after that she gave up and realized that the HOBBY is now a part of my life!!!!! From time to time she complains that our "Family Room" (which contains 13 pins and two video games) has been destroyed..... However I like to remind her that the presence of the games in our home is a sign of "Marriage Security"... If she ever comes home to find that the games have been moved (to an undisclosed location of course) then I've probably hit the road....
