There were the anguished cries of many and then there was silence.

This is not the typical type of thing you'd find on a website such as ours. Afterall, we are a paranormal study group and not really given to the political ways of the world. But when one has witnessed what we all have today, well, one does find it hard not to speak out.

To those families, whom started today typically, only to find their world shattered by mid-morning. To those poor souls unfortunate enough to have been caught up in this tragedy.  Our prayers, our condolences, as well as those of the citizens of our nation, are with you.

To the emergency personnel, fraught with peril; as always, you are there to lend a hand. Although, at present time, there are few stories of your bravery forthcoming from the press. We suspect in the ensuing days, weeks and months, this will change dramatically. We pray for your safety.

In a dream, a leaf  falls from the throne, a message for Azrael, for inscribed  upon the leaf  is the symbol of the false prophet and the number of his days remaining.

You can destroy our buildings, our monuments, the symbols of our nation. But with every bomb, with every act of terrorism, it only strengthens the unity of this nation. A unity, a resolve which you will never break no matter how hard you try.

Anomalous Photography 101
When I finally joined the digital age, way back in 1996, one of the first words I plugged into a search engine was ghosts. To my surprise there were several hundreds of thousands webpages dedicated to the subject. But what really caught my eye was the proliferation of  amateur anomalous photographs on many of these websites. This meant that no longer was hands-on paranormal research meant solely for the parapsychologist.

Some truly dedicated researchers have gone through the trial-and-error process of elimimating the false positive. These pioneers of modern day paranormal research have been good enough to share their findings with us. Following are links to the accepted protocol for paranormal research by some of today's leaders in the field. Some of these protocol pertain to anomalous photography. To be taken seriously by the scientific world a uniform grid work must be followed. Familiarize yourself with these few simple rules and welcome to the world of anomalous photography!

Dr. Dave Oester of the International Ghost Hunters Society and the Ghostweb presents the accepted protocol.
