My name is Sue. This is my first house bun Tizzy. (not the clearest picture, but is's all I have at the moment) Tizzy was in a pet store window with the rest of her brothers and sisters, they were the left over Easter Bunnies (4/96). I had just moved into an apartment and wanted a pet. I couldn't have a dog, cats meow, birds are noisy and so I decided on a quiet little bunny. I had bunnies growing up and wish I knew then what I've learned over the past 5 years of living with Tizzy. I had no idea how much enjoyment I would get by sharing my apartment with a rabbit.
I learned of the Michigan House Rabbit Society when I had to take Tizzy to the vet for mushy poops. What luck, I just happened to pick the vet they take their rescues to. What an eye opener! After that visit I started learning more and more about rabbits and rabbit care.
Since then Tizzy and I moved in with my boyfriend and his dog. (the dog is a Golden Retriever and is scared to death of the rabbits) Tizzy was not as social as she once was, so I contacted the Michigan House Rabbit Society regarding adoption. We took Tizzy to the foster home so she could check out her future companions. The 2nd bunny we introduced her to really liked her. So, about a month later Milo was delivered to us. It took about 2 months of bonding and are now totally bonded.
