Lady Lopes Home Page

The Lady Lopes rolled over the Laurel Spartans beating them 52-33. It was a physical game but the Lady Lopes prevailed, led by Sophomores Kelli Costa, Jenna Klinginberg, and Junior Rachel Frischmeier. To start the game the Spartans scored the first 2 points and then Junior Rachel Frischmeier started the scoring for the Lady Lopes by hitting a 2, 3 pointers with in a minute. To end the first quarter Jody Dailey hit a buzzer beater. The Lady Lopes struggled the first quarter to find their touch. Kelli Costa led all scorers with 25 points, and Rachel Frischmeier added 10. Jenna Klinginberg had 9 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Lopes will play saturday at 12:00 noon against section rival Vincentian at North Hills. The outcome of this game will result in a state playoff spot and the advancement to the Semi-Finals in the WPIAL. We wish the best of luck to the girls and Kick some Royal butt!
