WHO IS NANA?
I've adopted the voice of Nana, who is the embodiment of all our nanas, moms, aunts, dear friends and wise women we have known and will know.
NANA IS LITERARY...
The seeds of my desire to write were planted as a small child living on a farm in East Texas with my dear uncle and aunt. There were many twists and turns in the road of life before my dream came to fruition. An alcoholic mother would 'repossess' me and the beginning of many abusive years would begin, until the cycle was finally broken. 
At age five-oh, I began writing poetry. The very first poem, a tribute to my uncle, is located in Nana's Poetry Nook. I scribbled notes by candlelight, sunlight, and twilight always dreaming of the someday when...
NANA'S STORY IS PUBLISHED...
"Chocolate Days and Shadows", coming in December, is a memoir of dark days when I lived in shadows and it is a healing journey into the sunlight. It is the story of who I was, who I am and who I will become. It is me, it is you, it is us.  The abused children of the world.
