A Resolution for 1997

I choose to live modestly and simply, as in the Taoist tradition.

I wish to lift the hearts of the down trodden and seek to understand the plight of the disfavored, so that I am informed-for ignorance kills.

I love my neighbor, as the Commandment says, and we are all neighbors on Planet Earth.

I follow the beatitudes of the Christian bible, for the righteous shall inherit the Kingdom of God.

I believe, like the Pagan, in the unity and brotherhood of all people, and all life on this planet, for Mother Earth gave birth to us all.

I have Faith in God, or Tao, not as a creator, not as a ruler, but as a benevolent Way of Being.

I live, not for a purpose, as looking for purpose drives sane men crazy.

I, instead, seek to cherish the life that I have, not as a gift to me, but as a gift I can give to others.
