Some of our other Critters!
We have lots of cats, here's two of them. Coco was a pound cat. We adopted her from the animal shelter in 94. I was doing a co-worker a favor and stopped by the shelter on my way home from work to see if her dog who went missing that morning might be there. I didn't find her dog, but I did find Coco. I just couldn't resist her beautiful sweet face, and striking brown coat! She has been a wonderful addition to the family. Our good friend Deb gave us Sulu. Like most Siamese, he is a real character, and very opinionated. I'll post pictures of my other felines when I can catch them off guard!
Here's Uno
One of our feral cats.
She has a very pleasant and entertaining personality and she's a great mouser!
Then there's Edward
Another feral...
Edward is simple, big, and mouthy.
A Hoss Cartwrite of Cats.
The feral cats are cats that just show up at our place. They are too wild to bring in so we trap them, have them neutered (as we can afford it) then release them. A couple of them managed to elude us and had kittens before we could catch them, so we have a few more cats around here than we like! Why people think the "country" is a good place to dump animals is beyond me!
Here's Frankie. Frankie was one of our feral cats. We caught him as a kitten and my daughter raised him. He is a fun cat with a very clownish personality. You can see the mischief shining in his eyes! He loves people and other animals and we have to watch him carefully as he has no fear!
Eggness thinks this is her best side...
Eggness does quite well, even with only one leg!
This is Eggness Hennypenny. Eggness was brought to us as a hatchling with a severely broken leg. The leg couldn't be saved, but we saved Eggness. Eggness has provided us with a good supply of eggs for the last 3 years, and I swear she thinks she's a dog. She's neat...as Chickens go.
These are a few of our non-human family. You can check out more at the barn.....
