So much has been written on scouting! Someones
secret
techniques still boil down to time honored methods!
Nothing can replace time afield! The more time
you invest in the place you hunt. Figuring out the
the lay of the land and how the deer are using it is
critical.
Changes often occur year to year . Farmers rotate
crops, mast crops cycle and so on. If your hunting
public land other hunters come into play.
Basicly what you want to do is get an idea of what the
deer are doing. Set up an observation stand or blind.
Take note of how and when the deer use this
particuler
piece of property and then fine tune your stand sights
for opening day!
Scapes ,rubs feeding and bedding areas all come
together as you start putting the pieces of the puzzle
togther.
An experienced hunter will be able to figure things
out alittle faster. But still be fine tuning his statagies
throughout the season!
Read any information on scouting you can get your
hands
on! Apply what you have read and taylor those techniques
to best fit the way you hunt!
