Autumn's Welcome - A paper-pieced scene from designer, Carol Doak.  I felt the quilt needed more than just a plan border, so I added the tree broder.
About Me

I have been enjoying quilting since 1994, and I tend to quilt almost every day.  I am not a professional quilter, but wanted to share some of my projects with other quilt enthusiasts.  I hope you enjoy my virtual quilt show.
My Current Interests

I am currently into:

Stack-n-whack quilts - I have made eight of these quilts and have stash fabrics to make at least five more...

Block swaps - I participated in a snowman block swap and liked it so well that I started my own group.  See my favorite links below.

Advanced paper-piecing - I attended a workshop by Eileen Sullivan.  She is a fantastic instructor and her patterns are wonderful.  I love her technique!

Hand applique - Took a class in January 2002 and have been addicted every since.  View the blocks to the right for some of my first applique blocks.
Above three photos are of my sewing studio.
My Interests

Other than quilting, I like quilting (smile.)  I love to roller skate and I bowl on a bowling league with my husband.  I bowled a 300 (perfect score) game August 2001.  Wow, I was besides myself.  I also love to read and spend time with friends and family.

Can you believe that this is my quilting trash can?
Ironic Conclusions - This quilt I made for a friend's birthday who is an iron-a-holic.  I thought it fitting that she should have a quilt depicting her most enjoyed quilting activity.  2-03

Teas Snowman Swap Group I'd love if you come visit my swap page and consider joining the snowman block swap group.  New members are always welcome.  Don't let the name deter you from joining.  We currently have Batik Butterfly, House, and Autumn/Fall swaps in the planning stages.
