Temple Baptist Church of DeRidder is pleased to announce that Bro. Bobby G. Slaydon has been called as Pastor of our church. Bro. Bobby and his wife, Deedie will assume the leadership of Temple Baptist on September 18, 2005. Bro. Bobby has pastored many churches in the local area and he and his wife are the owners and operators of Service Cleaners in DeRidder.

They come to Temple Baptist from Unity Baptist Church where Bro. Bobby Slaydon ministered as Music Director and Mrs. Deedie Slaydon was the Children's Church Director. Bro. Hurshel Davis, as the Pastor of Temple until relieved by Bro. Bobby, wishes to invite our friends and neighbors to fellowship with Bro. Bobby and Mrs. Deedie. Temple will host a "WELCOME" lunch on September 18, 2005 immediately after the morning worship service to give the church and friends an opportunity to get acquainted with our new Pastor.

Bring a covered dish of your choosing and join us as we celebrate this joyous occasion. The church will provide coffee, drinks and desserts.
