I have set up this page for the benefit of those who have friends or family in the military. Whether they have been deployed overseas or not you can add their name to this list by sending an Email to TEXANinFLA@aol.com with whatever information you feel is appropriate and your relationship to them. Please arrange the information so I can copy and paste it to the webpage to minimize errors. If you are not already on my Email list I will be happy to include you when you send your request. Just state in the subject line that you want to be added to my Email list.

In W.W.II, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace.

There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America. If you would like to participate, every evening at 9:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, its citizens, its men and women in the military, and for peace in the world.

In just a few weeks time he has had shrapnel in his legs during a  bombing that hit his vehicle and killed the driver and passenger in the front of the jeep, he has been shot point blank and walked away because of a bullet proof vest that he was wearing, and his blackhawk has taken a nosedive due to a broken chopper blade and all the men in the helicopter walked away with no injuries except one with a broken leg. God is truely with him!!!
