Marrow Bone Springs

Ya better watch yer step in this Webstern town, Mister...
We ain't got a streetsweeper!

THE GUNFIGHTERS original partners are:

all professional actors with wagon loads of other acting experience and training, including that Shakespeare stuff!
(That Jennings fella, even studied & worked in London...England that is...and now lives and works fulltime in ol' Los Angeles, California...)
These fellows began performing together at 6 Flags Over Texas.
In 1975, Benton was the first of these three to be hired, Mike came along a few months later, and then Chris hired on a bit later.
They continued to perform and perfect their comedy old west routines at 6 Flags through the end of the 1976 season.
"THE GUNFIGHTERS" independent acting company was formed by the 3 partners in 1978.
After kicking around several long-winded name possibilities for the company, Benton finally came up with the simple, yet all inclusive name -- "THE Gunfighters". Thus legend was born.

THE GUNFIGHTERS performed their Award Winning, various, upbeat, light hearted comedy shows (which are copyrighted, you footpads) over 7000 times nationwide!

  • "And if I laugh at any mortal thing, "Tis that I may not weep." - Lord Byron.
  • "Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone, For the sad old earth must borrow of its mirth, But has trouble enough of its own." -Ella Wheeler Wilcox.
  • "On this hapless earth, There's small sincerity of mirth, And laughter oft is but an art To drown the outcry of the heart." -Hartley Coleridge.
  • "Dying is easy.......comedy is hard." - Sir Donald Wolfit.

  • THE GUNFIGHTERS perform high quality, professional entertainment for conventions, festivals, parties, meetings, special events - you name it!
    "Have FUN - Will Travel."
