The Parrot Stitch, Pineville’s only needlecraft store sells supplies for all needlearts, such as cross-stitch, needlepoint, knitting and crocheting as well as select gifts and handmade items.
We are an authorized dealer for yarns by Cascade, Skacel, Schaefer, Artyarns, Muench and N.Y. yarns; as well as needles by Lantern Moon, Clover, Addi Turbo and Vogue Knitting Magazine. We have wonderful wool for felting, bead and lace knitting patterns by HeartStrings FiberArts and much more.
Special orders and mail orders are always welcome.
We also offer knit and crochet lessons or join us for our “Sit n’ Stitch”, an informal get-together for all needle crafters. Please call for details.
We are located at the corner of Main Street and East Shamrock Street. Park behind the building and enter through the purple door.
Hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, open
late on Thursdays, and Saturday from noon until 5 pm.
