The asterisk marks my direct-line ancestors. The (-5G), etc., after the names indicates the number of generations before Erven Thoma

Joseph Isele (-5G) was baptized at St. Blasien church in Brenden

Is Magdalena Haefele really the mother of Maria Isele? It is possible but one notices that she was born before the parents were married.

There is a Joseph Isele who married Maria Anna Haefele on 13 Nov. 1817 in Grafenhausen (LDS film #0938924)

Josef is mentioned (together with his wife Magdalena Haefele) on the marriage record of his daughter with Andreas Jäger on 15 Oct. 1840 at the catholic church in Grafenhausen, Bonndorf, in the county of Waldshut, Baden.

There is an IGI record of a Josef Isele marrying a Magdalena Preisser on 7 May 1818 at the catholic church in Grafenhausen, Bonndorf, Waldshut, Baden.  Is this the same marriage?  Is there a mistake in the data entry for the online version of IGI?  One needs to examine the microfilm:  batch M950323, source call 0938924 covering years 1805-1829.  Curiously, there is also an IGI record of a Magdalena Preisser marrying again in 1828 at the same church.
