Silesia (Schlesien) Arms

Silesia is the Latinized and English form of the German name Schlesien. In the 19th century it was a province of Prussia. It is located east of Saxony. Its major cities were Bresslau and Glatz. After World War II it was given to Poland. Previous to the 19th century it was in various control - Prussia, Poland, etc.
