Her father, Josef Hottinger* (-6G), was married to a Luzia Huber(-6G) earlier and they had one child, Joseph Hottinger (-5G), born 12 Nov. 1769. Luzia died on 25 Mar. 1772 and the father married Anna Lüber (-6G) sometime in 1775. Although Anna Lüber was from Altenschwand, her husband Josef was apparently living in Glashütten, Baden, so the family probably settled there. Maria Anna was her parents' only child. Our Maria Anna Hottinger* (-5G) was born on 24 Nov. 1780, probably in Glashütten; Joseph Hottinger (-5G), mentioned above, became her half-brother. Her husband Martin Huber* (-5G), who she married on 28 Jan. 1799, was a farmer in Glashütten. Their son Joseph Huber (-4G) was born 09 Nov. 1799 in Glashütten or Altenschwand. Maria Anna is named as the mother of Katharina Huber* (-4G) (born 14 Nov. 1805) on Katharina's marriage record. She died 28 Dec. 1808 in Glashütten or Altenschwand, Baden. -------------------- Her son Joseph Huber (-4G) married on 14 Feb. 1828 and died on 27 Nov. 1864. Her daughter Katharina Huber (-4G) married to Andreas Thoma* (-4G) on 23 June 1825 and died on 27 Jan. 1869. After Maria Anna's death, her widower Martin Huber (-5G) married a Magdalena Huber (-5G) on 16 May 1809. Martin died on 22 Nov. 1838.
