I do not know when or where his parents died, but it was certainly after the 1880 Census and it probably was in Illinois.
He married Nellie Murphy (-3G) sometime ca 1886, probably in Illinois. She was a daughter of John and Margaret Murphy.

He is a harnessmaker. On the next census page we find the rest of his family. His wife Nellie is 35 years old and was born in Oct? 1864 in Missouri, her father in New York and her mother in Missouri. They have been married 14 years and had 3 children, 2 of which are still living. There are two daughters: Frances L., 10, born in Apr. 1890 and Nellie M., 6, born in Mar. 1894. Both daughters were born in Illinois, their parents in Missouri. The girls are in school.
He died after the 1900 Census but I do not know when or where. His name does not appear in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Obituary Index at the St. Louis Public Library during the years 1900 through 1910. Perhaps he died in Illinois. I do not know where and when his siblings died. Also, I do not know when or where his wife died except that it also occured after the 1900 Census.
