Huth - the surname

Huth families were found in Missouri as early as the first quarter of the 20th century. George Huth (-2G) and his parents were born in Hanover (Germany). He immigrated in 1871 and naturalized in 1886 He settled in St. Louis. There was also a group of Huth families in Richland Township, Morgan County, Missouri, but I do not know the relationship between the groups.

Edna Huth (-1G) married Otto Thoma (Jr), a son of a half-brother to my paternal grandfather.

I do not know the meaning of the name, but this is a German surname. The people in the table below are part of our Fridolin Thoma's First-Family Group.
