Christian's occupation was CPTR [carpenter?] and Wilhelm's was WVR [weaver]. Their origin was BV000 [Bavaria?]. Wilhelm's destination was PA [Pennsylvania?]. [Germans to America]
There is a Henry Sander who, with a Wilhelm Sander, came to New York on 08 Oct. 1864 from Bremen on the ship Therese. Henry was 28 and Wilhelm was 22; both were tailors and their origin was Germany. [Germans to America, vol. 15, June 1863-Oct. 1864]
A Paul Sandherr arrived on 21 May 1853 at New York from Havre on the ship Gondar. He was a 29 year old farmer from WM [Wuerttemberg?] with New York as his destination.
A Joseph Sandherr came over to the U.S. with his wife Marie and two children, Emelio and Marie, from France in 1848. He was a 29 year old farmer and his wife was also 29. Their destination was PA [Pennsylvania?].
A Joh. Lidw. and a Wilhne. [Wilhemina?] arrived in New York on 03 Sept. 1860 from Bremerhaven on the ship Atlanta. He was a 46 year old tailor from Germany and she was an 18 woman from Germany. They were not listed together and no specific destinations were given. [Germans to Anerica]
There is a Maria Sandherr who was buried (or died) on 13 Dec. 1891 at the age of 64 years, 2 months, and 20 days. [St. Louis Death Register] Therefore she was born ca 22 Sept. 1827. She was buried in the Sandherr lot in Friedens Cemetery in north St. Louis County so she must be related to our Sandherr family..
There was a H. S. Sandherr who was buried on 25 Oct. 1904 at the age of 3 days. Information appears in the St. Louis Public Library Obituary Index. I wonder if this was a child of our Frederick and Sybilla Sandherr of St. Louis. He/she was buried in the Sandherr lot in Friedens Cemetery in north St. Louis County.
There is a Johanna Sandherr who married Henry Suter in St. Louis on 24 Apr. 1860. [St. Louis, Missouri Marriages, vol. 10, p. 033]
A Frances (or Francis) Sandherr was buried in the Sandherr lot in Friedens Cemetery in north St. Louis County. I do not know her relationship to our Sandherr family.
An Aridenck Sandherr is found in the 1910 Fed. Census for Missouri (T624, roll 821, part 1, page 205A, 21-WD). He lived in St. Louis and was an 43 year-old male, born ca. 1866..
A Charles S. Sandherr was born in 1859 at St. Clair County, IL. He appears as an 8-month old child in the 1860 Census (July 21) for Township 1, Rg. 8, St. Clair County, IL. Head of the household was a Henry Sandherr.
A Harriet A. Wilver married a Henry Sandherr on 09 Sep. 1858 in St. Clair, IL. She was born in Feb. 1839 in PA. She was believed to be enumerated with David Wilver on the Census of 1840 in St. Clair, IL She was enumerated on the Census of 07 Dec. 1850 for Belleville, St. Clair County, IL as Harriet Wilever, age 11, born in Pennsylvania. But she was living in the household of Thomas A. Harrison with her aunt Rebecca Green Harrison and grandmother Catharine Green. On the 1860 Census (21 July, Township 1, Range 8, St. Clair County, IL) she is living with her husband, Henry Sandherr and is 21 years old, born in Pennsylvania. The 1870 for them has not been found yet. On the 1880 Census (14 June, Township 1N, Range 8W, St. Clair County, IL) she appears as Harriet A. Sandheer, age 41, born in Pennsylvania, wife of Henry. Her parrents were also born in PA. On the 1900 Census (23 June, St. Clair Township, St. Clair County, IL) she is the widowed head of household and is 61 years old, the mother of 6 children, all still living. She owns a fruit farm, free of mortgage. Living with her are Virginia C. Sandherr, Louisa K. Sandherr, Alexander F. Sandherr, and Harriet Sandherr. Presumably those are her children still living with her. On the 1910 Census (15 April, Belleville, St. Clair County, IL) she is 71 years old. She is living with her son-in-law Joseph Ketterer. This Census says she had 8 children, 5 still living.
A George L. Sandherr was born in 1865 in Illinois. He was enumerated with henry Sandherr on the Census of 1880 (14 June, Township 1N, Range 8W, St. Clair County, IL) as George L. Sandheer, son, age 15, born in Illinois. He married a Minnie in 1893. He is the head of household on the Census of 1910 (St. Clair Township, St. Clair County, IL) at 45 years old, first marriage of 17 years, occupation truck and fruit farmer. Enumerated with him were Minnie (his wife) and Lucille K. Sandherr and Darlene Sandherr who were perhaps his daughters.

A Lucille K. Sandherr was born in 1901 in Illinois. She was enumerated with George L. Sandherr on the Census of 09 May 1910 for St. Clair Township, St. Clair County, IL. She was 9 years old, born in Illinois and was the daughter of George. He was also enumerated with George as his daughter on the Census of 1920 (17 Jan, St. Clair Township, St. Clair County, IL). She was single at age 19.

Virginia C. Sandherr was born in April 1868 in Illinois. She was enumerated with her father Henry Sandherr on the 1880 Census (14 June, Township 1N, Range 8W, St. Clair Township, IL) as Virginia C. Sandheer, age 12 born in Illinois. She was enumerated with her mother Harriet A. Wilver on the Census of 1900 (23 June, St. Clair Township, St. Clair County, IL) as Virginia Sandherr, age 32 and single. She married Mr. Pfasler later in 1900. She is the head of household as Virginia Pfasler on the Census of 1930 (19 April, Granite City, Madison County, IL) as a widow, 62 years old, first married at age 32. She was enumerated with her son Albert who was born in 1902.
A Louisa K. Sandherr was born in Jan. 1871 in Illinois. She was enumerated with her father Henry Sandherr on the 1880 Census (14 June, Township 1N, Range 8W, St. Clair County, IL) as Louisa K. Sandheer, age 9, born in Illinois. She was enumerated with her mother Harriet on the Census of 1900 (23 June, St. Clair Township, St. Clair County, IL) as Louisa Sandherr, age 29 and single. She married Joseph Ketterer in 1909. She was enumerated with him in the Census 0f 1910 (15 April, Belleville, St. Clair County, IL) as Louise Ketterer, wife, age 38, first married for 1 year, no children. She is working as a seamstress at home. She was enumerated with her husband on the Census of 1920 (17 Jan, Belleville, St. Clair County, IL) as Louisa Ketterer, wife, age 46. She was enumerated with her husband on the Census of 1930 (19 April, Granite City, Madison County, IL) as Louis Ketterer, wife, age 59, first married at age 37.
