Who is/are the main character(s)?

Who are the characters?

Well, I'd say that the Wolfriders are the main tribe, but Cutter is most definetly the main character. He is the chief of the Wolfriders and has a very hot temper. He gets his tribe into a lot of sticky situations, but he always manages to get them out of it.

Well, there are tons and tons of characters, but here are some tribes for ya. The Wolfriders, are the main characters, mostly. Then there are the trolls, who lurk underground and cause trouble. After them comes the Sunfolk, peaceful elves who stay out of everything, making them very, well, boring. (Sorry all u Sunfolk fan people!) Next are the Gliders, the High Ones first born, who like to cause trouble, too. The Go Backs dwell in the Frozen Mountains and love to battle the trolls. Far away live the Wavedancers, unknown by everyone but Yun. Preservers are the most specail characters, for they are little colorful winged characters who will bind anything they can in their sticky webs. And of course there are the humans, who hate the elves with all their might, and succeed in making a lot of the elves misrable.

What is sending?
Sending is an ability every elf can do. For some, like the Wolfriders, it is as easy as breathing, but for others, like the Sunfolk and Go Backs it is unneeded and forgoten. Anyway, it is a telepathic message they can send to whoever they want. They can locksend, where they send privately to one elf, or and open send where anyone can hear. It gets a little more complicated, but it is sorta explained in the books.
