On the weekend
of 10/4 - 10/5 at the ABTC regional and BBTC independent specialties: On 9/14, "Justine",
aka CH Timberwind's Just One Look, owned by Kathy, passed her Canine
Good Citizen test with flying colors and now adds CGC to her name. So
now its on to Rally and Tracking to use that clever mind and nose! On 9/7, "Shane",
aka BISS CH Timberwind's DreamKeeper,CD,TD,RN,HIC,CGC took BOB and onto
second in the Herding Group at the prestigious Westchester Kennel Club
show in NY under judge Dorothy Collier over many of the top East Coast
dogs. Breeder/owner handled by Kathy - another great win for Mr. Shane!
He now has 10 group placements to date. On 8/14, "Chase"
aka Timberwind's True Sky Chaser, NAJ passed his Canine Good Citizen
test and adds the letters "CGC" to his name! Proud owner/handler
is Jeanne King, congrats Jeanne for having such a well-behaved dog! On 7/6, my
homebred girl, "Justine", aka Timberwind's Just One Look -
earned that final point, owner handled at Holyoke KC in MA to finish
her championship today by going WB under judge Jean Fournier! Justine
is just 14 mos old, it was a quick ride to the CH !! Now it's time for
tracking, Rally and obedience! On 6/20, at the Shawangunk KC show in New Paltz, NY I am SO PROUD to announce that my "Shane", aka Multi- group placing BISS Ch Timberwind's DreamKeeper, CD,TD, RN, CGC, HIC won a herding Group One under judge Norman Kenney!!! Breeder/owner handled and under very stiff competition: some of the top Herding dogs were there and the rest of the lineup was with professional handlers. Judges comments : "this is an extremely sound Tervuren with wonderful movement and fantastic temperament-just gorgeous" and wanted to know who he was out of, etc. I was so proud to represent the Tervuren in the Best in show ring - although no BIS today, we were mighty proud just to be there! Absolutely a dream come true for me. On 6/8, at
Longshore-Southport KC, "Laika" aka Timberwind's Like A Dream
Come True, owner handled by Jane McInerney went WB for one more point!
Four singles to go... Yeah Jane and Laika! On 4/18, "Justine"
aka Timberwind's Just One Look won WB for 2 points and Best Puppy at
the Springfield, MA show and then went on to a Puppy Group I !!! Good
girl Justine, you made proud breeder/owner handler Kathy ecstatic! Not
to outdo herself, the next day she went WB and BOS over two bitch specials
for a 4 point major! Justine now has 13 points, both majors and is almost
there! On 2/17, "Justine",
aka Timberwind's Just One Look, handled by owner Kathy earned BOS over
a nice bitch special to earn a point at the Hartford, CT show while
her half-bro "Shane", handled by Darlene, took BOB and onto
get pulled in the group with tough competition! A Timberwind Day! On 2/11, "Shane",
aka BISS Ch Timberwind's DreamKeeper,CD,TD,RN,HIC,CGC earned an Award
of Merit at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show, beautifully
handled by his pal Darlene Laurin for his nervous owner Kathy! We are
especially thrilled to be honored with this award, and Shane was a very
good boy and very happy in the ring! On 11/24,
Mira, aka Timberwind's Look That Thrills, earned WB for one point from
the puppy class at her very first show in IL! We are very proud of owner/handler
Debra Wendt! What a way to start! On 10/13 and
14, 'Shane", aka BISS Ch Timberwind's DreamKeeper, CD,TD,HIC,CGC
earned legs 2 and 3 in Rally Novice and can now add "RN" to
his name! Proud owner/handler is Kathy. On 10/6, at
the American Belgian Tervuren Club Regional Specialty in Westfield,
MA, "Shane", aka multi-group placing CH Timberwind's DreamKeeper,CD,TD,HIC,CGC
went Best in Specialty Show - BISS over a total entry of 31 tervs!!!
Bred, owned, handled by Kathy - it was truly a dream come true to win
this prestigious show, which Shane's grandmother Luna won 4 yrs ago..
To prove he is not only beautiful, but smart - Shane earned his first
leg in Rally Novice with a score of 96 and third place! On 8/11, "Chase",
aka Timberwind's True Sky Chaser went BOB over 2 specials for 2 points
at the Southern Adirondack DC show in upstate NY!! Congrats to proud
owner/handler Jeanne King! On 7/28, "Maizie",
aka Timberwind's True Magic earned her third leg in Rally Novice at
the Lackawanna KC show in PA and can now add RN to her name. Congrats
to owner/handler Pat Mock! On 6/8, "Shane",
aka CH Timberwind's DreamKeeper, CD, TD, CGC, HIC won a Group 3 yesterday
at Taconic Hills KC - owned, bred and adored by Kathy - handled with
finesse by Darlene Laurin under judge Christine Hubbell. This is Shane's
6th group placement to date and I am mighty proud of him! On 5/20, "Cleo',
aka CH Timberwind's Double Take earned her first leg in Rally Novice
at the Coyote Hills Kennel Club trial in CA, ably handled by owner Trish
Price. We are very proud of Trish and Cleo and await more good news
on legs 2 and 3! On 5/6, "Shane",
aka Ch Timberwind's DreamKeeper, CD,GCG,HIC passed his tracking test
at the Tracking Club of Massachusetts trial, doing a very handy job
of finding the glove in dry and windy conditions. SO he now adds "TD"
to his name! Proud breeder/owner/handler is Kathy. On 2/24 and
2/25, "Laika", aka Timberwinds Like A Dream Come True won
Winners Bitch at the Rockland County shows for 3 point majors each day!!
Handled by breeder Kathy Kraft for proud owner Jane McInerney. We will
be rooting on Jane as she shows Laika in the upcoming shows... 8 points,
just 7 to go! Go Laika! "On 1/14/07,
"Shane", aka CH Timberwind's DreamKeeper, CGC, HIC earned
his third leg in Novice B at the Essex Cty Obedience Trial in NJ to
officially become a Companion Dog (CD)!!! Handled by breeder/owner Kathy,
we are really proud to show that Shane has beauty AND brains!" On 10/8, at
the BBTC specialty in CT: On 8/5, "Maizie"
aka Timberwind's True Magic earned 2 more pts at the Perkiomen KC show.
She is now up to 11 points and are just hunting for that last major!
It won't be long now! Maizie is handled by proud owner Pat Mock. Congrats

at the ABTC Regional Specialty in California, "Cleo" aka CH
Timberwind's Double Take won an Award of Merit under judge Ruby Hertz.
There was a large specials entry of 8 dogs and 8 bitches so this was
indeed an honor! Cleo was my rescue/rehome of a few years back. Cleo
was shown by proud owner Trish Price, co-owned by breeder Kathy Kraft.
On 6/11/06
- "Shane", aka CH Timberwind's DreamKeeper, CGC, HIC went
BOB over 2 specials at the Longshore-Southport KC show then onto a GROUP
3 under judge Dorothy Collier! Handled by owner Kathy Kraft. What a
fun day! This is Shane's second group placement and we are mighty thrilled! On 4/22/06
- I am very pleased and overwhelmingly proud to announce that my "Shane",
aka CH Timberwind's DreamKeeper, HIC, CGC took Best of Breed at the
Pioneer Valley KC Show in Springfield, MA defeating 3 specials (total
terv entry of 14) and then went on to win a GROUP 2 !!!!!! Both wins
were under judge Jon Cole. This means he beat 123 other herding dogs.
This is a first in my career! Group placements third and fourth but
never a second! On 4/15/06,
"Sierra", aka Timberwind's True Companion. earned her very
first point at the Providence Cty KC show. Ably handled by owner Gail
Haygood. Congrats! On 4/1/06,
"Tanji", aka Timberwind's Off On A Tangent, CD, CGC (Milo
x Luna I) earned her third leg and competed her CDX obedience degree!
We're VERY proud of owner/handler Beverly Westerveld. Congrats Bev! On 1/12 -
1/15/06 at the Nickel City 4 day Cluster in Buffalo, NY Shane and Skye
took the city by STORM and came away with Skye taking BOB two days and
BOS one day, and Shane taking BOB one day and BOS 3 days! My good friend
Cindy Beeley handled Skye and proud owner Kathy Kraft handled Shane.
On the last day, in a very competitive Herding group - Shane made the
final pull for consideration under judge Ruby Hertz....at the ripe young
age of 23 months! Specials career here we come! On 10/6, Shane , aka CH Timberwind's DreamKeeper, CGC owned and handled by Kathy Kraft won Best of Opposite at the ABTC Eastern Regional Specialty at the prestigious Morris and Essex dog show in NJ (held only once every 5 yrs!) under renowed breeder judge Edeltraud Laurin. It was such a thrill and indeed an honor, as Shane is just 20 months old! I would like
to announce that "Beauty", aka Timberwind's Enchanted Dreams,
HIC, CGC finished her championship by taking a 3 pt major at the Prescott
(Arizona) Kennel Club Show yesterday! September 17, 2005. Beauty's proud
owner is April Czaja, congratulations to April! Beauty is her first
terv and she showed her for all except her last 3 pts (she hurt her
knee!). Beauty is the third pup out of my CH Timberwind's Take to the
Sky, CD, TD, HIC X CH Chateau Blanc's Evening Star litter to finish
and needless to say I am quite proud! Also, a Luna granddaughter - I've
lost track now how many have finished, with many more to come! Proud
Breeder, Kathy I am VERY pleased to announce that Luna grandkid "Candy", CH Havuherd Lightship's Allure, proudly owned/handled by Sue Drew and bred by Dawn King - won Best in Specialty at the ABTC/Evergreen Bel Terv Club Regional in Washington 8/28/2005!!!! The total entry was 30 tervs, including 6 specials and 3 veterans. The judge was Susan Quesnel from Canada. This is indeed an honor! Candy is just
18 months old, and is out of Rachel (Milo x Luna) and CH Snowflower's
Moonshadow. Candy was also Reserve winners bitch at this year's National
Specialty. Luna is smiling down once again on us from the Rainbow Bridge.....her
legacy lives on. :-) On 7/30/05, "Xia", aka Timberwind's Dare To Dream, finished her championship at the Providence County show in Rhode Island! Xia was handled all the way by owner Melanie Redford, and we are VERY proud of them both! On 6/11 and 6/12/05, Beauty, aka Timberwind's Enchanted Dreams, won WB and BOB both days for 2 more points at the Flagstaff, AZ shows handled by owner April Czaja. Beauty just needs a major to finish! To cap off the weekend in grand style - Beauty was pulled in the Group on Sunday! Way to go April and Beauty! On 6/4/05, Xia, Timberwind's Dare To Dream, won WB for another 2 pts at the Ladies Dog Club, and on 6/5/05, Xia went WB, BOW AND BOB for another 2 pts at Framingham show... Xia only needs ONE point to finish her championship! Ably handled by owner Melanie Redford On 4/23, Cleo, shown by breeder/co-owner Kathy won WB, BOW and BOS over 3 female specials at the Pioneer Valley show for her third 3 pt major and completing her Championship! Later in the day we competed in the Bred-By-Exhibitor Groups and won a Herding Group I . Cleo was showing like a pro and was not to be denied. We are just thrilled as Cleo is now the tenth Luna kid to finish - completing the requirements for Luna's C-BAR!! Luna now joins her mother Raven in the C-BAR ranks! Also on 4/23, Morris, aka CH Timberwind's Star Chaser, owned by Cindy Beeley passed his ATTS Temperament Test in Pittsburgh and now sports the initials TT! Morris' dad Milo (sire to the Star and Take 2 litters) passed his TT for the second time as well! Way to go boys! On 4/17/05
at the Rhode Island KC show, Cleo, handled by
breeder Kathy Kraft won her second major by going WB and then BOB over
a male special! Cleo now has 12 points - we're almost there! At the Peach Blossom Circuit in Georgia, Beauty and April took RWB to a major on 4/14/05, went WB for her first major (3 pts) and passed her Herding Instinct test on 4/15 and then won Best in Puppy Sweeps and passed her Canine Good Citizen Test on 4/16! What a fabulous weekend for the pair! Well worth the trip from Arizona! On 4/3/05, Skye passed her Tracking Test at the Hudson Valley Tacking Club test with flying colors in the rain, wind and mud no less! This was Skye's first attempt and she sailed through her track in 5 minutes - with no hesitation she nailed every turn. VERY PROUD breeder/owner/handler is Kathy Kraft. On 3/12/05, "Cody", aka CH Timberwind Destyn's Moondog, AX, AXJ, OA, OAJ, CGC earned his CD with a first place and score of 194.5. Cody is Luna's brother and he is 10 years old! We are very proud of him and his owner/handler Deb Hageman! On 3/5/05, Skye aka CH Timberwind's Take To The Sky, CD, HIC passed her tracking certification test and is ready to enter a real test! Owned and handled by Kathy Kraft. On 3/4/05, Beauty won BOB for another point and has 7 total now! Onwards to that championship! We're on a major hunt! On 2/20/05, Cleo won another point at the First Co Governors Foot Guard show! On 1/15/05, Xia aka Timberwind's Dare to Dream won her second major, 3 points at the Greater Lowell show! Owned and shown by Melanie Redford. Cleo won Reserve as well. On 1/8/05, at the Palm Springs show in CA (huge entry of 4500+ dogs!), Beauty took WB for one point and also won a PUPPY GROUP 3 - we are very proud of her and owner/handler April Czaja! On 12/5/04, Cleo aka Timberwind's Double Take won a 3 point major at the Eastern Dog Club show. Owned by Melanie Redford, Trish Price and breeder Kathy Kraft. This is Cleo's first major! On 11/28/04, Xia aka Timberwind's Dare To Dream won her first major, 3 pts at the Worcester Cty show! Owned and shown by Melanie Redford On 11/27/04, Beauty won WB and BOS for 2 points and on 11/28/04 she won WB, BOW and BOS for 1 point. At the Springfield cluster 11/19-11/21/04, Timberwind's DreamKeeper, CGC won Winners all 3 days, earning 2 pts on 11/19 and 2 four point majors the next 2 days to complete his CHAMPIONSHIP! Shane is the first puppy to finish from the Star/Skye litter. Owned and handled by Kathy Kraft. On 11/7/04, Timberwind's DreamKeeper - Shane passes his Canine Good Citizen test! Owned and handled by Kathy Kraft. On 10/16 and
10/17/04 - our Beauty, aka Timberwind's
Enchanted Dreams, went WB and BOS for one point each day - these are
her first points! Proud owner/handler is April Czaja.. Beauty is her
first Terv and we are very proud of her. On 10/2- 10/3/04 Timberwind did REALLY well at the Berkshire Belgian Tervuren Club specialty weekend! Here are our stars:
