About the IMI

The Independent Martial Arts Instructors Association, hereby referred to as the IMI, was conceived to accommodate all reputable martial arts instructors requiring the support and guidance of an established Martial Arts Organization i.e., the Traditional Martial Arts Association

Services

The TMA,Inc will provide to all IMI Certified Instructors, services not limited to nor bound by the following;

1. IMI instructor certification to qualified martial arts instructors regardless of style, but within adequate standards set forth by the TMA Executive Board.
2. Administrative procedures pertaining to protocol, promotional testings, tournament standard operation procedures, student/instructor relations, and class room standards.
3. IMI rank certificates.
4. IMI membership cards.
5. Instructor liability insurance coverage from adequate provider.
6. IMI instructor patches.
7. High ranking testing panel.

All Instructors affiliated with the IMI will be responsible to the TMA for the following standards;

1. IMI membership fee per student.
2. Below Black Belt test fee, per student per testing.
3. Black Belt and all subsequent degrees test fee.
4. IMI Certified Instructor fee, per Instructor for length of certification.
5. IMI sanctioned tournament fee.
6. Adequate reimbursement to TMA Executive Board Members for costs incurred for services provided at the request of the IMI instructor.
