Fairview Middle School

Dear students and parents,
Thank you for visiting this page again.  I have taken a couple years off from teaching to spend more time with my family.  I will return to the classroom someday.  I still check this email address,  tomrsgus@aol.com   I really enjoy hearing from you.  Every now and then I get an email from a student off at college, which is really cool for me.  Some of you even have kids of your own now.
Never stop dreaming or let fear hold you back in life.

Mrs. Gus

Volunteers needed this fall
Lab Fees:  A big thank you to all of the parents that have donated.  Over $200 was collected.  Twice this number would be a great goal. Donations from the wish list are always appreciated too.  Science teachers can easily spend hundreds of dollars of their own money on lab supplies.
Wish List
Copy paper, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, baby wipes (no sink), file folders, large and small water tight ziplock bags, regular sandwich bags, food coloring.
Clean two liter and one liter bottles, shoe boxes with lids, clean baby food jars, coffee cans or baby formula cans (clean, dry, no rust).
Parents to volunteer in class.  Please come on a lab day.  An extra set of hands and feet to help pass out supplies is always appreciated.  You do not have to know any science to help.  Come enjoy the discovery with them.
