Baptism: Richard Wake the sonne of John Wake was baptized 30th
September 1607 CHILDREN: No marriage record has been found for
Richard Wake, but we see seven children for Richard and Alice Wake
in Medstead. The children found were Richard (our direct line),
Sara, Anne, Joane, Elizabeth, Judeth and John. The burial entry on
page 26 reads... 1690 Richard Wake, Yeoman, was buried onoly in
woollon according to the late act of parliament on the 15 day of
October for which affidavit was made before Sir John Norton knight
and barronet, one of his Majesty's Justice of the Peace for this
County as appropriate by his certificate dated the twentieth Day of
October AD (Photocopies of both original parish register entries in
possession of writer.) !WILL: "Will of Richard Wake the Elder of
Medstead, Yeoman" Written 20 June 1678, Probate 1679. Hampshire
Record Office, Reference 1679 P/51. Photocopy of original in
possession of writer. It looks like he signed the will, but it is
partly cut off at the bottom of the He signed the will. The
witnesses were "The mark of" Richard Chandler and "The mark of"
William Budd.

Ales (Alice) is seen only in the baptism and burial entries for
the children of Richard and Ales Wake.
No entry for the baptism or marriage of Alice herself have been
found. In the following recording of the burial of daughter Anne,
"Ales" was written as "Alice".
Burial: Anne the daughter of Richard Wake and Alice his wife was
buried the third day of December AD 1666
