Transformations Make up & Hair was founded in 1990 in beautiful Austin, Texas and is owned and operated by Jon Davis (aka Beth Boye). Beauty is his livelihood. A licensed Appearance Designer amd Image Consultant, Jon works with his mostly female clientele, as well as with ad campaigns, fashion shows and beauty pageants. Transformations is a natuaral extension of his lifelong experience as a transgendered person and is the basis for his belief that every TG person, especially those new to the lifestyle, should have professional image counseling to ensure success in creating their own unique style.

Our Philosophy
Being born a male means inherent differences in facial bone structure, size and shape than that of a female. The image others perceive can be controlled by the proper application of cosmetics and appropriate hairstyling. A man’s bone structure can be contoured and softened to bring out his best features and minimize those best kept hidden. A hairstyle best suited to your face shape and body type, as well as the correct wardrobe and accessories, harmoniously blend the illusion of change from man to woman. The art of contouring and the image one wishes to project are united to create an attractive and believable new you!
