This group is strictly for post-op transsexual women. That is women who were born with the physical defect of having the wrong gender secondary sexual characteristics that they have sought to correct through surgery. We are not transgenderists; 'non op woman’ or 'women trapped in a male body’ we are simply women born transsexual who are now cured.
Transsexualism is a physical medical condition that can be cured. Anyone who is truly transsexual will endeavour to overcome the condition through the only known treatments available, hormones and surgery.
This group is aimed at those concerned with transsexual politics and activism who want true equality and recognition of our gender as women in all aspects inc. privacy, marriage and the law. As such we do not beleive the Gender Recognition Act 2004 goes far enough and instead promotes a third gender catagory called transgenderism.
