Intolerance Records  ntolerance Records was founded in 1993 by Jason Shepherd for the sole purpose of releasing his solo project "Slugwrench".
Jason teamed up with longtime adversary, turned cohort, journalist David "Slave" Basteri and recruited him as Producer on the first four Intolerance Releases (Demo Tape One, Demo Tape Two, Demo Tape Three and Prole). In 1994 Jason met Brian Firth and realized his talent. Later, Firth became head art director at the Intolerance Offices in Tulsa. In 1996, David "Slave" Basteri was sent to England on the mission to seek out the photographer of the one photo of Dead Princess Di so SLUGWRENCH use the photographer on a shoot for an upcoming album. That photographer was Hornelieus Gertrite. Not only were the photos a smash on the underground release of Die Di Die, but Hornelieus later became known as D.J. Gagball and was a major influence and contributor to the album Prole.

The solo project that all this was started for initially, the full length cd, Prole was finally released in the summer of 1998. Many reviews later, and many tour dates later, Slugwrench, Prole has sold 22,000 copies in the United States and Canada. Not bad for an album as strange and esoteric as this one. Another intervening variable to be considered is the major chains won't even carry Prole on the shelves. You have to ask for it, or in many cases order direct.

From the middle of 1998 through the beginning of 1999 Jason transformed himself into ^|SiCk0|^ for the purpose of releasing a series of absolutely different electronic music. Jason was quoted as saying, "For the Sickness series I basically said to myself, 'what would i want to listen to right now? i am under the influence you know.'" And so he was... He went on to create Sickness Volume One, Sickness Volume Two and BADACID (not part of the Sickness series). I hear that a Sickness Volume Three is in the works and we should prepare ourselves.

And of course through all this, beginning sometime near the end of 1998, Jason became D.J. Korpserape for the self produced, only member of the drum and bass, electro-pop sensation "Wasteful Consumption Patterns" or "WCP". With Catchy lyrics and recognizable beats, WCP will be an instant success as soon as it's released on a major scale. Currently it's only available on CD-R or in MP3 format on the MP3 page of this site.
