Why Indoors?
Old Siam Cattery
Preserving the Siamese cat of yesteryear
Why Indoors Only?
Unless your kitten is on a leash and being supervised or in a cat habitat, we recommend he be kept indoors for his own safety and well being.  He will never miss the outdoors if he's never been outside.  We strongly believe our cats and kittens are happier and healthier spending their lives indoors.  The lifespan of a cat kept indoors is many years longer than that of a cat that is left free to roam outside.

Listed below are some of the reasons to keep your kitty indoors:

1.  Your kitten won't be exposed to ticks and fleas and the diseases they carry.

2.  Your kitten won't be exposed to stray cats that may carry a variety of diseases            including feline leukemia, rabies, etc.

3.  Your kitten won't be at risk of being hit by an automobile.

4.  Your kitten won't be at risk of being attacked or killed by a predator.

5.  Your kitten won't be exposed to outdoor poisons such as antifreeze

6.  Your kitten won't become the victim of people's cruel actions.

7.  Your kitten won't end up at the local animal shelter.

8.  Your kitten won't disappear for days, causing you grief and worry as to his                  whereabouts and wondering if he will ever return.

9.  Your kitten won't be a threat to wildlife nor have the opportunity to mame or kill            birds that may be a rare or endangered species.

10.  Your kitten will live a longer and healthier life if kept safely indoors.

If your kitten is kept safely indoors, then YOU don't have to worry about having any of these things happen to your kitten and knowing that YOU could have prevented it!
