The Band
“Speedy Parker Blues Band” was introduced to the Buffalo area in July of 1999 employing some of the areas finest unknown musicians. They quickly established themselves as major players and have gained the respect of fellow musicians and blues enthusiast in the musical community. Recently enjoying a great deal of success entertaining throughout Western New York – they have had the honor of performing at the “NYS R&B Festival” (Empire Brewery) in Syracuse, Artparks “Bikers & Blues Festival”, Botanical Gardens “Hotluck Festival” and also with the Shemekia Copeland Blues Band” at the “Tralf” on Dec. 16, 1999.
In addition they have been the featured band at The Lafayette Tap Room, B Bar, Center Street Smokehouse, Alternative Brews, Zuzon’s, The Blues Warehouse, Tony Romes,Hard Rock Café, Tudor Lounge, Root Five, J.T. Wheatfield’s, The Gin Mill, Alden Bar & Grill, The Bottom Line, Mac’s City Bar, South Shore Beach Club, Pearl Street Brewery, Peter K’s. Water Street Landing, Bryncliff Resorts, Fireside Inn, Cheektowaga - Village of Blasdell - Village of Boston "Summer Concert Series", America's Fair, Niagara & Allegeny Casino's, Vizzi’s, Grand Island Holiday Inn, and Peek N Peak Resorts.
