Twinsburg Youth Softball League
The goal of the Twinsburg Youth Softball League (TYSL) is to provide Twinsburg schools system youths with an opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport of softball. We recognize that individual youths have different objectives. Some want to have pure recreational fun while others are more interested in improving skills to prepare for the school programs. The league attempts to satisfy both objectives. We offer 4 programs:
Slow Pitch Softball (Local to Twinsburg):
This is a recreational co-ed program for children currently in Kindergarden through 5th Grade. We typically play two games per week (One on Saturday and one during the week). The games start in mid/late May and last about 6-7 weeks. The makeup of divsions will depend on registration volume.
Slow Pitch Softball (Travel):
This is a recreational program for girls currently in grades 6 through 8. This program is run by the Hudson Girls Softball Association (it's expected that most games will be in the Hudson, Twinsburg, Macedonia and Aurora areas).

Recreational FastPitch
This is a travel program for girls ages 9 - 18. We will be playing teams from other communities in our area.
There are usually 2 games each week, one in Twinsburg. The division makeup will be: Ages: 15-18; 13-14; 11-12; 9-10
Competitive FastPitch
This program is for more serious players. Many of the area communities (8 - 10) have put together one competitive 18, 14 and 12 & under team.
The Twinsburg Youth Softball League would like to enter one team in each division this year.

Registration
Forms will be mailed to last year's participants during December. Registration forms will also be available at the Library, Fitness Center and TRAC.
Registration forms are due by February 1st, 2004. They can be dropped off at the
Fitness Center or mailed back to:

Cost: Slow Pitch (Local): $35 (Includes Jersey & Cap)
Slow Pitch (Travel): $55 (Includes Jersey, Pants, Socks)
Fast Pitch: $65 (Includes Jersey, Pants, Socks)
Late Fee: $10 (after Feb 1, 2004)
Discount: $5 discount for each sibling.
