Below is a Romanian G build with Hungarian AMD-65 parts added to give the look of a AMD-65 at half the cost of building a pure AMD-65.

The extra AMD parts I bought were: Lower front hand guard, two plastic pistol grips, east german gas tube and the AMD flash hider. I decided to go with the Romanian side folding stock. Easier to use and will change out quick to a wood stock if so desired.

Flash hider is welded in place. Over all barrel length with the flash hider is 16.5 inches.
The finish is Brownells Aluma Hide II semi glass black. Close as I could find the the original AMD finish.

A insert support piece must be added to the hand guard or the hand guard will move upwards.
