Qualifying Procedures
2007-2008
PA State Qualifying Procedures

1. All boys must be pre-registered with the state. (Pre-season Roster Forms)
2. Level 4 boys must compete in any TWO Sanctioned meets.
3. Level 5,6 & 7  must compete in ONE State Qualifier and any TWO other sanctioned meets anywhere in the US.
4. Level 8, 9 & 10 must compete in ONE State Qualifier & in at least one other sanctioned meet. Please notify the State office of any event specialists.
5. All Compulsory level boys must achieve a qualifying score at least once in any sanctioned meet in PA.

State Qualifying Scores (07-08)
Level 4 = 45.5
Level 5 = 42.5
Level 6 = 41.5

Level 5  = 44.5
Level 6  = 44.5
Level 7 = 43.5
Level 8 = 62.0
Level 9 = 66.5
Level 10(14-15) = 66.5
Level 10(16-18) = 68.0

National Qualifying Scores (07-08)
Level 9 = 72
Level 10(14-15) =75
Level 10(16-18) = 76.5

PA Head Tax Requirements
Any gym hosting a sanctioned meet in the state of Pennsylvania is subject to a $2.00 “State Head Tax” per gymnast. If the meet is designated a “State Qualifier” a $3.00 “Head Tax” per Pa gymnast is required. $2.00 for out of state participants.
Meet Directors: Please forward the following to the State Office within 24 hours of the conclusion of your home meet.

1. A copy of the sanction form
2. Meet results
3. “Head Tax” Check should be made out to “USAGPA” and accompany the sanction form in the amount specified above per gymnast entered in the meet.
4. "USAG Scholarship Foundation Tax" of $1.00 should be sent directly to USAG! DO NOT FORGET THIS!!!

All boys’ teams in the state of Pennsylvania are required to post a “Pre-season Roster” with the state on or before November 15 of each competitive season. A $5 registration fee per athlete should accompany the “Pre-season Roster”  $50 late fee per team for any forms received after the deadline. Any boy registered with USAG should be on this form. Forms provided by the State Office. In the event a change occurs during the season, the state office is to be notified immediately.
