Statement of Purpose
This site is designed to make available my own genealogy and associated collateral lines for the benefit of other researchers. My ancestors immigrated to the Surry / Isle of Wight / Nansemond Counties in the late 1600s and relocated in Warren County, North Carolina.
Over 300 descendancy charts mostly dating to the pre-Revolutionary War period are available for your review. The majority of these descendancy charts are collateral lines. Collateral lines help me to be able to better isolate and analyze my direct lines.
Space limitations prevent complete documentation and duplication of information on descendancy charts. Many birth dates are estimated to check for overall accuracy. More complete descendancy charts and supporting documentation for any of these families can be provided in GEDCOM format (import/export method used by most genealogy software programs) upon request. Please feel free to share with me any information that may be missing or incomplete.
