This is my first Nitro Truck. It is a Traxxas TMaxx with a Pro.15 engine. My other car is a Tamiya Cobra SVT with a TL-01 chassis.

My name is Mark and I work here in Saudi Arabia. I've been into this hobby for one year now. RC cars are my childhood dream. I've seen this little "toys" on malls but never had the chance to own one. This childhood dream ended when I came here in Saudi Arabia and saw a hobby shop located in Al-Khobar, Dhahran. When I first saw that hobby shop, only one thing came into my mind, that it's time for me to own one and finally make my childhood dream come true. The prices in this hobby shop is way too overpriced but it didn't bother me at all. I told myself... I want one and I'll own one!
My first RC car is a Tamiya TL-01 which came originally with a Ford SVT Lightning body. I bought a new SVT Cobra for it after trashing the original body. I already installed a few hop-ups for this car and plan to put some more if budget permits. I will be giving this car to my son soon. My other truck is a Traxxas TMaxx. I bought this truck from a member of the Traxxs Online Community for a cheap price and it came with almost half of the hop-ups needed for a race ready TMaxx. This is the truck I plan to upgrade to the MAXX. I'll be joining some races in the Philippines so I can experience the thrills and actions this hobby has to offer and to gain more friends and knowledge from this hobby.
I never imagined how fun it is to be in this hobby. I'm really thankful for all the guys in the message boards that I often visit for tirelessly answering my never ending questions regarding this hobby.
Special thanks to my sisters in USA and London for helping me buy some of my RC stuff that is not available here in KSA. Thanks guys! I owe you one!
