Profile
I
have been
designing and making my own jewellery since 1989, and studied
Silver smithing and Jewellery making under tutor Scilla Speet
at Harrow College for a year in 1990. From 1993 to 1998 I worked
at Watford's Oracle Centre creating beaded jewellery, wrapped
crystals, pendulums and semiprecious stones and American Indian
style bone jewellery.
I specialise in silver wirework and beaded jewellery using crystal
glass prisms such as tiaras, earrings, crowns and necklaces. Each
Item is unique and individually handcrafted using a variety of
materials including beads, sliver plated wire and glass chandelier
drops.
I use a variety of materials for my jewellery including both new
and vintage recycled crystal chandelier prisms, Swarowvski Crystals,
glass and semi – precious stone beads and seed beads. These
are woven onto to a metal wire wrapped frame. My components are
gathered from many different sources including craft shops, ebay,
and charity stores.
